  I decided to reduce my workload at home by limiting my junk mail!
   
  To stop unaddressed junk mail you can register at Royal Mail Door to Door Opt Out, Room 130, Wheatstone House, Faraday Rd, Swindon, SN3 5JW. Or you can email the Royal Mail at optout at royalmail.com or telephone 08457950950 for the appropriate form. 
  They reply with dire warnings about how you will never get anything from your local council or the government ever again but I decided I only wanted things with a name on anyway.
   
  To cut out around 90% of addressed junk mail you can use the Mail Preference Service. Go to www.mpsonline.org.uk 
   
  Every minute of time saved by not looking at junk mail is more time for me!
