|
I read somewhere that if Royal Mail carried no junk mail, the cost of ordinary mail would have to double to keep even the present, pretty poor, level of service going. Junk mail is not a great way of describing some of the things that come addressed to 'the occupier' Some of it is actually quite important. It susually possible to detemine what is and what is not junk mail without actually opening it, so I dont mind it. I never bother opening the stuff that doesn't interest me. Its a bit like the vast quanitity of junk emails that manage to get past my 'firewall' etc Eddie C. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gillian Clayton" <jillclayton at mac.com> To: "Amanda" <amandavh at btinternet.com> Cc: "senco-forum" <senco-forum at lists.becta.org.uk> Sent: Sunday, September 03, 2006 5:37 PM Subject: Re: [senco-forum] Not SEN - about junk mail >I would agree but ... on Friday we got our Electoral Register Forms - >addressed to The Occupier.
