[senco-forum] Sour threads

It's both saddened and cheered me that people have become so  
passionate recently. I know it is distressing when people respond  
rather too forthrightly to some deeply held view, or dismiss what has  
been a long hard slog of work. But looking at it rather more  
positively it makes me feel proud to be part of such a vibrant  
community where people do really care. If we didn't we wouldn't all  
get so heated.

It's the diversity of the forum that makes it live. We all have our  
own views and theories, we have all spent many hours working to try  
to help the kids in our care and to convince others of the validity  
of our work.  We are all passionate about what we have found out,  
what we believe in.

I say, long live these differences, this passion, and if we  
occasionally smart from some response, then be grateful that someone  
else cares as much as you do ..... they're just getting there via a  
different route.
