My God Amanda! You use all those out of date and rubbished tests and assessments that I was using ( and being ridiculed for ) twenty years ago! The BPVS ! Archaic. The Aston Index? They sold one on the Antiques Roadshow last month. Draw-A-Man? - Culture bound and therefore racist. Be very careful dear. People will start sniggering behind your back about 'child-centred education', and may even suggest that your test battery is meaningful and actually tells you information about the child which affect their LEARNING! I'm off to wash my mouth out now. What IS the educational world coming to? Amanda, dear, they only want assessments now that can be quoted in Ofsted Reports and used in League Tables, and therefore used to teacher bash and FAIL SCHOOLS. Why on earth would you want to affect teaching and learning? No-one bothers about those hackneyed things any more. Just send round the CAT scores - no-one actually READS the results except good Heads of Year, who know the children better than anyone (outside the SEN Department) anyway. Amanda - you are what in the 70's we called a TEACHER. You are totally outmoded, I'm afraid. |
