[senco-forum] CRB checks

We use the TAs but a member of staff is always in the room with them. We
were told that at no time should they be left on their own with the
children until the checks come through. It doesn't stop them from
working with groups or individual children and of course they can still
help with other jobs in the class such as displays etc.

What do you all do with  teaching assistants between appointment and CRB
checks to coming though?
Does anyone know the legal situation? Does anyone have any views on good
practice?
