It varies depending on whether you Are considering extra time or a scribe - check on the PATOSS website www.patos-dyslexia.org for Penny Allcock's test which gives the speeds for different ages - it also gives instructions for administering the test. Assuming that you are considering using this for a scribe (Type A arrangement) then the person who is signing the forms (Dip SpLd holder, EP, etc..) has to sign to say that they have carried out the assessment so in that case you can't do the testing in advance. If you are considering using it for extra time only then you don't need Form 8 completed - just historical evidence on file - normal way of working, etc. (which of course you also need for a scribe). Hope that's helpful. Amanda Trying to test Year 10s so that the person we have to employ to write the forms for us can do it all before the September 30th deadline when she can only spare us one morning a week and we can't find anyone else. Were we told the deadline was going to change? Were we asked? Secondary SENCO Cornwall Amanda Secondary SENCO Cornwall |
