Writing speeds for GCSE for scribes (40% slower than average) Year 10: 9.8 wpm Year 11: 10.1 wpm (Taken from information from PATOSS) When were we told. - I kept looking on the JCQ website during August and I think I found the new regulations on the website on 1st Sept. No we were not asked and given no warning as far as I know. I phoned an exam board access arrangements dept on 4th Sept, and they didn't know the date had been brought forward and had not received their hardcopy of the JCQ regulations!! Regards, Janet |
