[senco-forum] activity week

The school I am in now  run an activity day only  but my last school ran an
activity week. I know we had a co-ordinator who worked hard all year to
organise it. Each year group had a different "offer" eg year 7s stayed in
school or went  the local area and had for example one day with local field
trip organised by the geography department,  an English/drama day, a Maths
trail  etc, all planned and run by subject departments. Year 8 went on
various trips in other parts of the UK or abroad.  In key stage 4 they did a
lot of work experience kind of activities.
