[senco-forum] Buzzwrite

Hi Mary
Well- it's a rather dinky but old-fashioned looking beige box the size
of a large margarine carton. It plugs into the mains and has a 'pen'
thing attached by a curly lead. The pupil used the 'pen' (which has a
light at the tip) to trace letters. If they wander off the black
outline, the machine buzzes and clocks up the errors on a digital
display which you reset for the next person. Amazingly simple idea which
kept one roaming pupil fascinated! 
If I can't get hold of one I might ask my tech-y husband or youngest son
whether they could make one.

Hi all
Today I saw a Buzzwrite in school. I have never seen one before (
despite having taught for 30 years!). It would be brilliant for some of
the children I work with. Can you still get them? The one I saw was
apparently 20+ years old and still going strong!
