This topic has just been raised by a colleague. Child in individual
instruction is taped to protect both child and teacher.

Whilst storing the tapes would protect teacher from future accusations - how
long should they be kept? We get abuse cases going to court years after the
event.

Also charges are sometimes laid against persons who store images of
children - how does this affect the keeping of tapes?

There seems to be a minefield here - does anyone have policies?
