2. Auditory Processing Disorder/ APD international chat

An international chat to discuss the issues affecting adults with Auditory Processing Disorder/ APD will be held on Saturday 28 April from 9pm (UK time) till midnight  (approximately).  The chat will be held here: http://client.sigmachat.com/sc.php?id=46104 which is pre-set for you to enter the Adults Chatroom so you only need to enter your username and click the Login button. Please email Aly (olanys at aol.com) if you have not registered yet for our private chatrooms and wish to do so in order to join our chats (you only need to register once in order to attend any APDUK chat), if you registered and have forgotten your username, have any problem accessing the chatroom or have any questions.
 
A transcript of the chat will be available to those who attend the chat by request to dolfrog at apduk.org but will only be available to those attending, for reasons of confidentiality. N.B. The information gained from the Adults with APD chat may be used to aid further research to help adults with APD, although always confidentially and with the full consent of the chat attendees.

3. Submissions are requested for the Auditory Processing Disorder in the UK/APDUK Newsletter Issue 7. All submissions are welcome and will be printed, as always with minimal editing which is pre-approved by the author. 
 
The main topic of this issue will be APD and how it relates to other invisible disabilities, either by co-morbidity or cause and effect, but anything APD or SEN-related would be welcome.
 
Please email your submission, no matter how small (maximum 1000 words please) to Aly (Chair APDUK and newsletter editor) by 21 April.  You can go to these web pages to browse past issues and find further information on APD -www.lacewingmultimedia.com/APD.htm and www.apduk.org .
 
We have a large and diverse international readership of professionals, parents, advocates, charities and voluntary organisations... this is an opportunity to broaden your audience and share your views and expertise with the world.
