I don't think it is the APD that bothers people on this forum; I think that most people are quite interested as there is a possibility that they may encounter it in their professional capacity at some time. What bothers people is dolfrog's sweeping dismissal of of a huge body of research into reading and reading 'disabilities', and the experience of practitioners, on the strength of the experience of what turns out to be a very few individuals.
