[senco-forum] GCSE exam access arrangements again

Hello
  I have a vague memory of someone objecting to the term 'Adjustments in Examinations' last week.  (Bit of an 'Ofsted fog descended - just reading forum messages for those excellent pieces of advice I got)
  Just to clarify:
  'Adjustments in Examinations' covers Access Arrangements, which is what pupils with learning difficulties need to have, and 'Special Consideration', which is what pupils need if something goes wrong on the day of the exam.  
  Personally I think the term 'Access Arrangements' is a good, positive expression for the sort of support pupils need to show what they can do in exam conditions.
