Dear Jason I like this Forum the way it is. I admit there are attractions to the Bulletin Board Format if it means that certain subjects get shifted sideways to a place where I never read them! But I find the sheer range of subjects is the interesting bit of this Forum. The fact that there are high levels of activity here shows that it is useful and used. Perhaps we should all restrict the number of posts we send? The main advantage of an Bulletin Board is that you can create a section for topics that have repeated high levels of interest, such as literacy, dyslexia etc, and this would prevent much repetition and each advocate of the various viewpoints having to re state their position each time the topic is revisited. It is possible that members of a bulletin Booard option can request email notification for all additions to a topic of a members special interest. The Department for Education and Skills' forum at http://www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/forums/ubbthreads.php is a very good example of what I mean, although it does not have the same high levels of activity as the Senco forum.
