Not forgetting The Navy Lark either Ruth!! Its deal easy and yes Reply Radio is Ok - not sure how much they are charging, I saw it the other day at about US$80 Alex -----Original Message----- From: senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk [mailto:senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk] On Behalf Of Ruth Newbury Sent: 30 April 2007 14:03 To: senco-forum at lists.becta.org.uk Subject: [senco-forum] Software information requested I am about to invest (that's the word I use when I am telling my husband what will arrive next in the post - I love internet shopping!) in a programme that will record and save radio programmes - for me to make into my own CDs or bung on my ipod. I have been recommended Replay Radio - but on going onto their site I now see that they have moved on to a programme that will save everything - video - TV - the lot. Now as I have an iPod that will deal with video too - as well as just playing my music - I could use this - if it's easy enough for me to understand. Now I think that this could be really useful - and I wish that I had thought of investigating this whilst I was still teaching properly too - all those lovely Sherlock Holmes stories on BBC 7 for example - let alone Round the Horne and I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. Now - does anyone out there already do this? - is it easy? - Should I go for the cheap basic Radio only or for the far more expensive version. Anyone use another programme? Or any advice at all? And thanks in advance. Regards Ruth |
