Article: [senco-forum] Common Assessment Framework

Sorry for the repetition - clicked go too quickly - here is the set of
three links you need

I have found the new documents from St Helens (which I presume are similar
to those everywhere else) which do not seem much different.... .

There is a simple "continuum of need" document (1 page) at

http://212.248.225.145:8080/publications/CONTINUUMOFNEEDAPRIL07WITHLOGO.pdf

with a guidance document at

http://212.248.225.145:8080/publications/CONTINUUMOFNEEDAPRIL07WITHLOGO.pdf

and all the documents and guidance with linking explanations are at

http://www.sthelens.gov.uk/item.do?parentID=100003&category=200017&itemid=266

> My understanding of the CAF is that the kinds of things we would expect to

> only be part of a CAF if there is work being done by agencies which seem
> likely to lead towards "child in need" status - which is not necessarily
> the case for Statementing and the preceding levels of SEN procedures.

> We have some new guidance here so I will have a look to see if things have
