Warning! (if you didn't know already). White boards that don't have any 'frame' will make the table tops filthy if a side that is written on is in direct contact with them. I'd look for ones that have a raised edge that will keep a side that is written on clear of any surfaces. I got mine from Yorkshire Purchasing. I think that LDA sell them and you may find them in Office Stationary catalogues. Maggie kngbrndn at aol.com wrote: Hi again Mary -- sorry if I was flippant earlier. I googled 'dry wipe boards' -- and came across a site doing pack of 30 for school use for about £15.00 ex postage. A 'class set' -- 30 boards / 36 pens and wipers for aout double that price. (all double sided with a grid on one side and blank on the other). Google -- economatics education. Cheers Brendan King. Also Ebay is auctioning a number of more up-market one-offs -- mainly for home and office use -- and even a couple of vintage slate chalk boards for desk use -- good for demonstration in a social history section of the school library. -----Original Message----- From: MARY HART To: senco-forum at lists.becta.org.uk Sent: Thu, 6 Dec 2007 4:56 pm Subject: [senco-forum] Small dry wipe boards Does anyone know where I might get some fairly robust, small dry wipe boards besides Early Learning Centre please?
