This sort of thing does make me cross.

Why is this governor giving you work to do? Is she your line
manager? No!

I am a parent governor myself and wouldn't dream of telling
staff what to do (despite being an experienced professional
myself).

My job is to support, to ask questions and to be a 'critical
friend'.

I think this governor is overstepping the mark. I think the
previous suggestions are great, get her to do the leaflet.
