2 part time posts in local Kent Primary recently - Frant & Hever possibly. One or both were 0.4 posts. Neither (from what I remember) were asking that the applicant be a teacher! The adverts were placed in the Tonbridge Courier. You could try www.thisiskentandeastsussex.co.uk and look to see if the adverts are still there. You could do both jobs and still be available for cover duty. Bargain! Sharon ----Original Message----- From: senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk [mailto:senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk]On Behalf Of elizabeth owen Sent: 26 December 2007 13:54 To: senco-forum at lists.becta.org.uk Subject: [senco-forum] How to become a SENCo I am currently a primary teacher in Kent and I have always been especially interested in special needs. However, I am finding it very difficult to find out how I can train and gain funding to become a coordinator. My headteacher has been unhelpful in giving me any guidance and so I was wondering if the forum has any guidance or advice to offer me. Lizzie -- No virus found in this incoming message.
