Yes kids' behaviour can be very, erm, I think challenging is the current buzword. But who does have the answer? Who is going to help them? While behaviour is an SEN category - and that's the real debate we should have - then it should be treated the same as the others. Do we chuck kids out of schools because we're struggling to teach them to read? Do we chuck them out because the wheelchair wont go to the second floor? Comprehensive schools means....? There's a belief that there's a simple, magic solution. Alchemy. The experts can sort it out. And Father Christmas brings the toys made by the elves.
