[senco-forum] Work load

I have subscribed to the Forum to get some support for my ever increasing 
workload! I have been a Senco in a large comprehensive school for the past 6 
years and have worked in the school in the SEN Department since 1988.  Over 
the years the dedicated staffing has been gradually eroded away. We have 25 
centrally held statements for pupils with complex and/or severe needs + 58 
students at SA+ with SpLD (some severe), MLD, BESD, SCLN + a further 200+ 
students whose literacy/numeracy/emotional difficulties should warrant 
School Action.
I would welcome some examples of other Senco's workloads including amounts 
of mainstream teaching commitment (not SEN) other responsibilities such as 
Tutor groups etc. Also whether admin support is available and the 
availability of SEN staffing (TA's and Teaching)
I need some examples to present to SMT because I'm not managing very well at 
the moment!
