[senco-forum] Death

I totally agree with you about the degeneration of the  Forum..I seem to 
press the delete button before reading some emails more often  than in the past!

Your question...I now work in an FE college (I worked in  mainstream sec ed 
for 35 years , a large portion of it as a SENCO) and ALL our  courses are 
supported if the need is there. I think , to be honest, that it is a  legal 
requirement (inclusion?) What course does she want to follow?

How about suggesting a combination of the 6th form and the  college ? That 
way she could have the support she obviously needs but  also  feel that she has 
partly had her wishes taken into consideration?

If she has a day or so in the college before she makes her  choice , then , 
perhaps, you might not have the dilemma? Our college is only too  willing to do 
this for prospective students at any time of the  year.
