Article: [senco-forum] SENCO on the Senior Management Team - Reply

Thanks to all who responded and forwarded information. I have passed this
on to my Headteacher who has informed me that as the paper uses the word
'intends' ('the minister intends for all SENCOs to be part of the Senior
Leadership Team) that he does not have to make me a SMT member. I
appreciate some replies that this comes with more responsibilities, but I
feel that I am already doing so many added duties, it would simply be
recognition of all the extra input I do (e.g. managing 22 LSA staff).

Anyone else with any other ideas?? Thanks for everyone's input.

Karen

PS Sorry about the sexy singles adverts and the end of my messages- it's my
hotmail, not me I promise!!!
