[senco-forum] SENCO by any other name

I like yours Mike.

The SpLD Service has been renamed, so have the SENCo's. Is it time for  the 
Ed Psychs ? Does the forum think Assessment, Rehihibilitaion, Screening, 
Evaluating, Service fit??

Joking aside... at the end of the day. its not the job title that counts, 
its the quality of the  work/support for the pupil that is important.

Being included in an inspection of  an SEN Dept.  that has been described as 
having one of the best they'd seen, I'll keep my head held high and stick to 
being an SpLD tutor.

Instead of  joining those who view the term SEN in a negative way  maybe we 
should  turn it on its head and  promote it as something positive and 
something to be proud of.
