One, to advise and support the teacher/TA who is changing the light bulb, to identify the right resources to support the changing of the light bulb, to monitor progress and draft in extra resources as necessary, to offer emotional support to the light bulb and the teacher/TA when progress is slow, to attend meetings about the progress of the light bulb, to draft new targets for the light bulb and to ensure that everybody is aware of them and how to achieve them, and to congratulate the light bulb on its progress. All of this, of course, depends on the light bulb's willingness to change and on the support the light bulb gets towards this end, from its family and friends! Phew! I'm exhausted already and it's only 7am! Mary -----Original Message----- From: senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk [mailto:senco-forum-bounces at lists.becta.org.uk] On Behalf Of David Bowles Sent: 05 July 2007 02:13 To: senco-forum Subject: [senco-forum] Light bulbs (off topic) Over on EPnet (a parallel list for EPs) I've recently posed the question "How many EPs does it take to change a light bulb?", and we've been receiving some wonderful responses including the very tongue cheek... > EPs don't change light bulbs. Sencos do that! OK, so how many Senco's does it take to change a light bulb? Answers in an email please... David Bowles PS: Just to let you know I've promised to post a summary of the best responses back onto EPnet, though of course I won't be identifying the authors of these gems |
