Persevere - this programme will adapt to each voice. The secret is to
correct errors straight away as soon as they are made - and even if they
cannot read - the programme is so easy to turn off and on as you go and you
can practise each phrase before reading it into the programme.

Regards

Ruth

I would like to know more about the 'steep learning curve' please!

We thought of trying Dragon software for a bright Y7 child who cannot read
(yet - but we're working on it...). The biggest hurdles seem to be the
'training' passages, which have to be read - which he can't do, and a strong
local accent.

Is it worth persisting with?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Maggie

The latest version of Dragon is supposedly very good, but as I am sure you
know, there is quite a steep learning curve to get the best out of it

Good Luck

I'm interested in purchasing some voice activated software for my daughter

school in the past but it is a few years old. Is there anything new out
there
 that anybody knows anything about?
