[senco-forum] Help

Dear Linda,

Have  you thought of recruiting a 16+ youngster on holiday between school
and FE? One of my grandchildren is just doing this. He has to get a CRB
check, but the charity which is running the summer activity for young people
with learning disabilities and difficulties has said that it is ok for him
to take part, so long as they have put in his CRB application form.

an enquiry from a parent with a child with severe mental and physical
disabilities ... whilst I would love to accomodate him .. I would need
another member of staff and that may not be possible with two weeks to go
and we have no extra funding anyway ... how do  I stand legally? can I
refuse ? can I access any extra funds? I don't really want to.
