[senco-forum] TA troubles

Hi,

I have only recently came into the post of SENCo. I have one TA (level 3) who appears to have, 'delusions of grandeur'. She believes that, 'she' should have received the post of SENCo and continues to, 'attempt' to order me about! For example, she will send me an email telling me to, 'bob down' to her classroom! (exclusion unit). A distance that takes less than one minute to walk. And OK I could easily do that.

 I should say that she is known as the, 'email queen'. She will send an email rather than talk face to face (whole new discussion?). In fact, in front of several of TA's she demanded to know why I was not answering her emails and went on to, 'demand' that I 'WILL' reply to her emails! Why talk when you can email - seems to be her cry.

Anyway the question is how do I deal with this person?
