[senco-forum] TA troubles[Scanned]

I would second these thoughts. I would also stress the need for there to be someone else present when you speak to her so that there can be no confusion about what has been said. Also, have you kept a log of dates and details of specific instances? If not, I suggest you do so. I had a similar situation some time ago and it was very useful to be able to talk about specific instances in detail rather than just alluding to them. It did, however, cause unrest amongst the TAs for some time afterwards, but at least it 'cleared the air' and further established my position as Head of Department. The person concerned has now moved on!!

It sounds as if someone needs to talk to her quite seriously and explain 
what her post involves, what yours involves and where she stands. This needs to 
be someone in authority with you present. If she does not comply I would think
 disciplinary procedures should be put in place! She sounds horrendous!
