Well it just goes to show you learn something new everyday.

As a small child (of 3) I had eye operations at Moorfields.
I have seen these 'floaters' (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floaters ) you are all
discussing, all my life. But this is the first time I have
heard a name put to them. As I have never known anything
different they don't really bother me and I have never
really discussed them with anyone. I guess I've always
thought them normal.

Usually I don't see them (unless looking at flat expanses of
the same colour such as the sky) as my brain must have
become extremely adept at tuning them out. But the power of
suggestion is strong and whenever I read one of these emails
about them I become aware of them.
