From: "Greg" <gregory.lambert at btinternet.com> > I too suffer from floaters, in particular my left eye. > Moorfields eye hospital in London tell me that I will just > have to, 'live with it'. Well it just goes to show you learn something new everyday. As a small child (of 3) I had eye operations at Moorfields. I have seen these 'floaters' ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floaters ) you are all discussing, all my life. But this is the first time I have heard a name put to them. As I have never known anything different they don't really bother me and I have never really discussed them with anyone. I guess I've always thought them normal. Usually I don't see them (unless looking at flat expanses of the same colour such as the sky) as my brain must have become extremely adept at tuning them out. But the power of suggestion is strong and whenever I read one of these emails about them I become aware of them. -- Mark Norwood www.avssc.org "The e-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail" (Stephen Fry) ======================================================================== This email has been sent from the Bucks LEA.
