WOW! You people are brilliant! But, I think I may have not explained things correctly. I am hoping to set up a parents forum at my school I teach and not a web site forum. Although what you have said, setting up a web site forum as well, might not be such a bad idea... parent power and all that... If there is enough interest... who knows..? I seem to be getting things wrong this week - my fault - I'll try to explain myself I little better next time. So sorry for any confusion - I'm still learning. Many thanks to everyone! Take care, Greg SENCo ----- Original Message ----- From: "Astryngia" <astryngia at googlemail.com> To: "Greg" <gregory.lambert at btinternet.com> Cc: <senco-forum at lists.becta.org.uk> Sent: Friday, June 08, 2007 5:18 PM Subject: Re: [senco-forum] Parents Forum > You could do it just by setting up a group on Yahoo or GoogleGroups or > MSN. > > Or perhaps BECTA would support you and help you with the > technicalities using their systems and lists. > > There's also a system used by many in education (which I find very > clunky and don't like much) http://netpals.lsoft.com/ > > Or you could buy yourself a website domain and download a piece of > software and create your own personal, personalised forum embedded > into a website.
