[senco-forum] Department SEF (Secondary)/ Value for money

I have been presented with a 32 page document telling me what needs to go in a Department SEF with some examples and then a further 32 page blank document which I needs to fill in for Learning Access.

Foe some reason I only got it this week, other depts have had thiers for 2 and I need to compelte MOST of it.

Anyone either done thiers, or found a good website with examples for SEN and all associated bits.

As I am just launcing into the year 7a nd 8 Annual reviews (9 of them) I am not impressed, but know tht it will also form part of te Department Review. 

Like Jancie asked, how do we show Value for Money?  Already I am being questioned why the students are not making the same progress/achievements as the majority of their peers.  Starting from a lower pltform is apparently no answer for them not achieveing the same and problems assocated with communication etc is no answer for progress.
