I like Mastering Memory (about £150 I think) from CALSC. They have a website. The program is designed for young children up to adults so there is something for everyone. The older boys enjoy the highway code symbols. You can set it up to give pictures only, pictures + sound, or sound only so you can develop auditory or visual memory (or a mixture). It is one of the teaching tools I wouldn't be without! ( secondary), who can read and write, probably not spell, fairly well? I do the obvious things and suggest strategies, but particularly for boys, with poor organisation, I could do with some new inspiration. Best wishes, Barbara. |
