Have you looked at Dr Kawashima's Brain Training on the Nintendo?
I got it try out with a girl with short term memory problems - she liked
the look of it and I have been doing it spasmodically and have lowered
my brain age from 83 to 52 which is well below my real age - the goal
(not very realistic for me) is 20! The games are supposed to stimulate
different areas of the brain and the sudoko is brilliant!
Cheers
Judith

Hi, Mary,

That is really the question I wanted to ask. Are their really any
materials
which will improve a person's working memory. Only strategies or
"skills to
support" seem to have any transferable effect to me.

Barbara
