Not really Aly. I asked the pointed question at the end -- were you only intersted in APD? At no point did I dismiss APD in relation to Autism or that your reference to APD was in any way at odds with an Autism diagnosis. It was the isolation of the list and implying that many were easily explianable in terms of oter conditions -- ignoring my plea to pay attemtion to the overall effect of having several characteristics in combination -- that was what I claimed was a trivialisation. I hope that clears matters up and the issue is settled amicably and with mutual respect retained. Cheers Brendan King

I  just stressed that reliance on such a checklist was  over-exagerated.
