[senco-forum] Any advice for my son please?Post viral fatigue and finals in 10 days

Any advice welcome please. My 21 year old son contacted mumps on Good Friday
(despite having had MMR). It got steadily worse with admission to hospital
with meningitis and encephalitis and was there for 8 days. He was discharged
a week ago but is physically very weak (loss of balance, can't walk) and his
memory and concentration is poor.

He is determined to sit his finals in 10 days (in Birmingham Uni) as he has
a good job offer riding on his results. I am of course very concerned as to
how he will cope.

He is in discussion with the mitigation committee but if anyone has any
suggestions on how to speed up his recovery, I owuld be eternally grateful.
