Article: [senco-forum] practical suggestions-dyscalculia

Anne Hederson has written several practical books on Dyscalculia but not
sure whether these are useful for secondary.
Also the Primary Strategy brought out a booklet on supporting pupils with
Dyscalculia and it should be on the website. This covers general
difficulties and strategies which might be useful for your teacher .

I give literacy support to a 13 year old girl who has severe problems of a
dyslexic nature. I have also screened her and her huge difficulties with
maths suggest she has dyscalculia also. What practical things could her
mainstream maths teacher do to make her learning easier?
