Article: [senco-forum] a T.A. who is a PE specialist (male)

We have a TA (now an HLTA) who works exclusively in the PE Dept. But then, our TAs don't come within the remit of the SENCo, they are allocated to and managed by the departments.

Deployment of TAs seems to vary so much from school to school, especially in secondary. He may just strike lucky!

He has asked if there are such things as P.E. specialist T.A.s - what qualifications they would need and how to go about finding such a job.
I thought someone out there might know.
I suggested approaching special school in the area
Any ides welcome
