[senco-forum] a T.A. who is a PE specialist (male)

I have a male TA and also a PE specialist TA.

The male is terrific with disaffected boys in year 10 and 11. Added to this 
he is a trained youth work counsellor and we use his skills in this arae 
too.

The PE TA is a qualified fitness instructor so can do dance,weights,running 
and exercise machines,aerobics,takes students out and supervises when they 
access mainstrem PE lessons,she is a swimming instructor and also does first 
aid training ijn school for oteh staff having passsed her St Johns courses 
recently. She has devised fitness programmes for wheel chair and disabled 
students that either she or other TAs can supervise and also for ASD 
students who dont like playing contact or dirty sports like rugby/football. 
The down side she makes all of the tAs and me come to fitness classes afetr 
a long hard day 3 times a week and she can be a real nag if you dont show.
