The Naglieri is also easier to score than the Ravens, in my opinion. On Martin Turner's advice we use the Naglieri, coupled with the British Picture Vocabulary Scales. When independent Educational Psychologists subsequently test children we have tested the scores generally agree with ours. Our on staff psychologist ran a check on our past records to check this before she agreed the tests were useful. Where there have been significant differences it has been in the area of spatial intelligence, which is not covered by either the BPVS or the Naglieri. We have not used the Ravens so cannot comment.
