[SENco-forum] TA Level 3 small group teaching?

HLTA - I think not only is there a problem getting paid at the higher rate
but also that it is not easy to transfer to another school and this is why
many mature TA's (who did not or could not take time out earlier) are now
going for QTS via Foundation Degrees.  It takes 4 years  (3 year degree +
PGCE)and is done 1 day per week intensively rather than lectures spread out
all over the week as is more normal in full time HE.
