Article: [senco-forum] Learning Works forums - Only join if you work at an independent school please

Dear colleagues
I need to correct part of Ruth's email. The LW Forum is designed only for
SENCOs and learning support staff working in independent and international
schools. I do apologise for any confusion.
Thank you.

I know that some of you are also members of the Learning Works senco forum
run by Fil Came. (- open to all but with a slant towards the independent
sector - because that is where the majority of the members work)

I have just started posting some of my resources there - and hoping to
encourage lots of other people to do the same - you probably all know my
views on having to reinvent the wheel on a daily basis!

The resources forum contains things I have collected, or written over my
years of teaching. I say my - because as yet - I can see people reading
them - but not yet posting their own.

The resources include one off lesson ideas - poems that went down well -
help sheets for various things - oral/aural comprehensions - and more or
less anything else that you might find useful.

It would be wonderful to see more people both reading and contributing to
this forum too.

You log on to

http://www.lwforum.org.uk/policy.asp

to register, if you have not already done so - take a look and see what you
think.

Regards

Ruth Newbury
