"No - I have no idea about how to access an assessment
from a behavioural optometrist. Or even what a
behavioural optometrist can do to help."

They can be found in the phone book/recommendation by
someone locally who has had this testing done.

A behavioural optometrist can diagnose visual
processing problems, just as APD testing highlights
APD issues. At least then you will know what you're
dealing with in detail. Causes need to be established
for what ails a childs, otherwise you're stabbing in
the dark. Individual causes need to be established in
order to tailor what you do to the child, individually
rather than a one size-fits-all approach.

Best wishes,
Aly
