I must say I prefer to use Sassoon Primary, it has clear differences between
the confusable letters like b/p/d; u/n etc. then Comic san s as a second
choice.
The children like to use the HfW font (Handwriting for Widows) because they
can turn their  document into cursive script. 

I find Arial harder to read because the b/d/ n/u are very similar
