The only ones I can find for me relate to this forum.  And no, my
husband's family is not related to Lord Dowding of WW2 fame.

Mind, browsing your name can have unforeseen results.  My brother found
that two towns in the USA have the same name as our family name.  One is
the place where Steve McQueen was born.  It has a wonderful website,
including pictures of the celebrations of Steve McQueen Day, which is held
each year.  My brother, who is an artist, contacted the mayor and was
invited over for a visit and did some sessions as a guest artist in the
local school.  All stemming from web browsing in an idle moment!
