Article: [SENco-forum] exam concessions

Oh great - I am one of your 'unlikely' ones.

I have just done a Study scan that says my spelling, reading speed and
writing is dead average. Fine for exams but not so good as it is not
reflecting my IQ (top 2%).

Worst of all was my processing results(Snowflake test) being in the bottom
20%. That answers a lot of my personal questions about why I find studying
hard! Good news if I might be able to get extra time in exams.

Sharon

Jings cravens help ma boab!

One may be a perfect speller but a very slow processor (unlikely) and
hence extra time is not reliant on spelling -
Have a look at JCQ booklet

Same for reading - depends on the overall profile of difficulties.
