Hi,
A child who cannot read using phonics may well have
Auditory Processing Disorder.
I would:
1. get him rteferred for APD testing ASAP as this will
affect him in far more than literacy or education and
for the rest of his life, and
2. use more visual means of teaching him, and not only
for reading.
Repeated use of phonics for a child that cannot
process will not work.
