That's exactly what it sounds like!Most children do get better, (not all ) but by then they might have a number of problems which range from poor reading skills to difficulties interacting with others, social/behaviour problems, concentration etc. It is really important to detect it early. HI teachers' advice and input is invaluable with these children, so I would contact the HI service.
