[senco-forum] English/literacy descriptors p8-2a

Hi Tim

Actually all I needed to do was ask the fantastic wonderful resourceful and
helpful 'senco forum'.

Many many thanks for all the great replies and attachements I've had.
Problem solved almost over night!

What you do is you contact a Primary School. You may have some in your area.
If you don't know of one, ask your children.. Most Primary Schools will be
only too happy to provide you with the level descriptors that they use.

If this is a problem for you then I suggest you do a further trawl of the
internet, but this time look for Key Stage 2 indicators. You will find that
these go down as far as level 1 or even, if you are lucky, as low as the P
scales.

If all else fails, then the National Curriculum level descriptors for KS1,
KS2, KS3 & KS4 are all available as part of the National curriculum document
that you should have in school, and is definitely on the internet.
