If you have received this email in error you must delete it and notify the system manager (e-mail: postmaster at oldham.gov.uk). ********************************************************************** Why not, instead of 'looking for evidence of dyslexia' discuss with mum and dad your perception of the child's profile what you have planned to ensure his or her progress - including the things you do for the whole class and anything extra you think the child needs - include parents in reviewing the child's progress identify together what is working to ensure and sustain that progress and ensure those interventions are part of the child's education-together you will have identified what the child needs: interventions that work - not dyslexia - those interventions may promote the progress of children diagnosed with dyslexia too but you ought not to need a label to access them.
